Housing :- Made from a fiber-reinforced composite material.

Bearing :- The housing consists of a water lubricated PTFE shaft alignment bearing and lip seal. Once fitted the SureSeal cannot be misaligned.

Hose :- Connecting the SureSeal to the boat is made easy by an "articulating" hose, matched to the housing and stern tube size.

Hose clamps :- Special clamps with inner sleeves to spread the load and stop the clamp from marking or tearing the hose.

Information required for ordering

To determine which parts to order and whether or not you have sufficient space for the installation, you need to measuer "A" the shaft diameter, and "B" the outside diameter of the stern tube (to give hose bore). Dimension "C" is required to confirm how much CLEAN, SMOOTH shaft forward of the stern tube is available.

Seal must not run on worn shaft surface. Please state single or twin installation and shaft material.
