We manufacture a range of Bronze propellers from 8 inch diameter to 50 inch diameter. Standard propellers are made of 'Manganese Bronze'. All propellers can be manufactured in 'Aluminium Bronze' for extra strength and better resistance to electrolysis.

When ordering propellers, please state:

Blade type - Diameter - Pitch - Rotation - Taper dimensions - keyway size.

Propeller calculations . For this we require:

Engine type - Maximum Horsepower - Maximum R.P.M. - Gearbox reduction - Boat type - Waterline length - Beam - Draft - Hull shape - Expected speed.

We can also supply Propellers with a high pitch for Steamboat application.

Propeller repair and repitching

We can recondition Manganese bronze, Aluminium bronze and Aluminium (outboard and outdrive propellers). All Propellers are re-welded if required and then polished, balanced, re-tracked and Aluminium Propellers are re-painted.

The price depends on the size, material and amount of work required. However it is sometimes not possible to repair a propeller, especially if there is evidence of heavy Electrolysis. Bronze propellers can also be re-pitched. It would be wise to contact us prior to sending or delivering a Propeller to check viability and get an estimate of cost.
