Centaflex Couplings Thursday, July 29th 2010

Models CF-M-127 and 160

The Centaflex coupling allows for a small amount of angular misalignment.

* Interupts shaft-transmitted noise and vibration between engine and hull

* The large volume, highly elastic encased element absorbs shocks and stress without excessive deformation

* Design allows the transfer of propeller thrust to the gearbox.      i.e. does not require thrust bearing.
