KE-4 Electronic Control System

The KE-4 is the perfect answer to smooth and easy shift and throttle control. Suitable for most applications.

Modern Styling, single or twin engine versions. Designed specifically to meet the performance, reliability, endurance and aesthetic requirements of today's modern boats.

The table below gives an indication of the parts required for various Engine/Station combinations

(i) Control harness Length available from 2.00m upwards (in 2m increments).

(ii) 33c Cables available from 1.00m upwards (in 0.25m increments)

This diagram shows the layout for a Twin engine and Dual station system. The Control Unit (B) has a 2.00m connection cable to the Actuator (C).

Positioning of these parts will determine the 33c Cable lengths between the Actuator (C) and the engine Throttle and Gear connections and the Harness lengths between the Engine Control Lever (A) and the Control Units (B).

Twin engine installations also require a 1.00m or 5.00m Communication harness between the Control Units.

Information required for us to give you accurate quotation

A drawing of you installation showing:

1 Position of Control unit/s (give distance from Batteries)

2 Position of Actuator/s (must be within 2m of Control unit/s)

3 Position of Control lever/s

4 Length of each Control Harness. From Control Lever to Control Unit. Available from 4m to 20m in 2m increments and 24,30 or 40m.

5 33c Mechanical Cable lengths from Actuator to Throttle and Gear levers. From 1.00m in 0.25m increments.

6 Communication harness length from Control unit to control unit (Twin engine Only)

This Schematic drawing gives a guide (only) to a Twin Engine and Dual Station layout.
